- The Senior Electronics Lab Technician II will be responsible for assembling, reworking, and testing complex circuit boards in an engineering lab environment.
- The role involves integrating and testing boxes made up of these boards, such as phased array boxes and advanced digital-to-RF processing units.
- The technician will solve technical problems using advanced rework skills and electronics knowledge, contributing to the development of cutting-edge products for space applications.
- The position requires managing the engineering lab and working closely with engineers and other technicians to maintain lab processes and equipment.
- Mentoring junior technicians and engineers, as well as authoring and conducting lab trainings, will be key responsibilities in this role.

- The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience as an electronics lab technician, demonstrating a strong background in electronics and hands-on work.
- A significant amount of assembly and rework experience with sensitive SMT components, such as RF amplifiers or BGAs, is essential for success in this role.
- The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, particularly in performing intricate hand reworks and using creative orientations of components.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills are necessary for collaborating effectively with a tight-knit team and documenting results.
- Experience in lab management, including equipment calibration and consumables, will be beneficial for overseeing lab processes.
