- The internship involves working closely with Cesium engineers on product development, design, testing, and manufacturing of satellite structures and thermal systems. - Interns will focus on the design of structures, packaging, interface components, and mechanisms for space flight. - Assignments will be based on project availability and the interests of the successful candidates. - Interns will have opportunities to present their work regularly to peers, mentors, and executive leadership. - The role requires a hands-on, interactive, and autonomous work approach in a dynamic and cross-functional environment.

- The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. - A strong academic record with a GPA of 3.5 or higher is essential for success in this role. - Experience in designing and building structural and mechanical systems, particularly in CubeSat and space projects, is highly valued. - Proficiency with mechanical FEA tools such as SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS is important for the internship. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as interns will present their work to peers and leadership.
