- The Mechanical Engineering Technician will be responsible for assembling and fabricating electromechanical devices according to engineering drawings and specifications. - The role involves building and terminating RF, power, and data cables as per project requirements. - Maintaining and organizing the shop area to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workspace is a key responsibility. - The technician will manage inventory of components, tools, and materials, tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed. - Handling shipping and receiving of parts and equipment is part of the job duties. - Assisting in the validation and testing of new designs using standard test equipment is expected. - The technician will support engineers in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. - Following and maintaining production documentation to ensure all work is done according to company standards is required. - Collaboration with engineers to ensure efficient workflow is a critical aspect of the role.
