- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve metrology-related manufacturing challenges.
- Experience with standard precision tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, surface plates).
- Analytical approach to data review, measurement variation, and process feedback.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with non-contact metrology (laser scanning, structured light, photogrammetry).
- Familiarity with Python, C++, or VB for data automation or process scripting.
- Experience integrating CMM data with MES, SPC, or CAD/CAM systems.
- Background in aerospace, defense, or high-performance automotive manufacturing.
Additional Requirements
- Candidates will complete an on-site technical skills demonstration (< 60 minutes) as part of the hiring process to validate proficiency in metrology programming and analysis.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing and lab environments with frequent interaction across production, machining, and quality teams.
- Requires use of PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) and adherence to all safety standards.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods during equipment setup or inspection.
