Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead and oversee daily operations across the Machine Shop, Clean Line, Robotic Assembly, and Automated Anodize Line. This role is critical to ensuring production targets are met with the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Role

  • Supervise daily operations across multiple manufacturing areas including CNC machining, part cleaning and preparation, robotic assembly, and automated anodizing.
  • Lead a team of skilled technicians and leads to ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Plan and allocate resources (labor, equipment, and materials) to meet short- and long-term production goals.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot process issues, working closely with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to minimize downtime and optimize throughput.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers to implement process improvements, resolve technical issues, and support design-for-manufacturability initiatives.
  • Drive accountability through effective coaching, performance feedback, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of production activities, downtime tracking, and maintenance logs.
  • Participate in capital planning and facilities upgrades to improve area capacity and capability (5S).
  • Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
  • Hands-on experience in fast paced technical/manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable using ERP and MES systems; experience with production tracking tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
  • Willingness to spend time on the production floor to coach and support frontline staff.
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees, including providing direction to and scheduling work of assigned staff.
  • The ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced engineering development environment.
  • Technical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Direct experience in a people leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands on experience with 5 axis CNC Machines, mills, & lathes in aerospace.
  • Hands on experience with automated production lines/cells.
  • Hands on experience with KUKA robots.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • This role operates in a fast-paced, high-mix production environment where priorities can shift rapidly based on engineering changes, supply chain constraints, and program milestones. The environment demands tight cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and program teams to ensure daily execution aligns with long-term build plans.
  • Success in this environment requires hands-on engagement on the shop floor, strong systems knowledge, and the ability to anticipate and resolve scheduling risks before they impact key deliverables.

Pay Range

$116,420 - $160,080 USD
