- The Head of Sales, Americas will report to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and will be responsible for driving strategic growth in the Americas region.
- This role involves leading a high-performing sales, sales engineering, and sales development team.
- The candidate will be expected to expand the sales team and grow the pipeline of new opportunities.
- Responsibilities include selling D-Wave's Quantum SaaS/Cloud products and services to new and existing customers.
- The role also involves co-managing business development team members and pre-sales customer solutions engineering team members.

- The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of successful sales leadership experience in a global technology sales organization.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets is essential.
- Experience in managing a team that sells high-value enterprise SaaS products and solutions is required.
- The candidate should have experience growing sales teams from 0 to 10+ members, resulting in significant bookings growth.
- A strong understanding of optimization applications such as workforce scheduling, production scheduling, and logistics routing is preferred.
