Supply Chain Intern

Epirus is a high-growth technology company developing software-defined high-power microwave (HPM) systems with devastating counter-electronics effects on modern drone threats. The Epirus Leonidas HPM family of products, empowered by innovations in AI and microelectronics, is human-safe and cost-effective. Distinguishing itself from lasers, Leonidas excels against drone swarms while also bending the cost curve back in DoD's favor - taking drone defeat costs from millions of dollars per drone to pennies on the dollar.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management within a growing company. We are looking for motivated interns to join our 10-week internship program. This is an in-person role designed to provide exposure to real-world supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, supplier management, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day supply chain operations, including planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination
  • Assist with tracking purchase orders, work orders, and lead times to ensure on-time performance
  • Conduct supplier research and support evaluations of vendor performance
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements
  • Help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for supply chain leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, finance, and operations to ensure alignment on material and production needs
  • Participate in process improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Rising junior, senior, or beyond at time of internship, with an expected graduation date between 12/2026 – 12/2028. All applicants should be returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies
  • Relevant coursework, prior internship, project team experience, or academic research in supply chain, logistics, or operations is preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools a plus
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position requires access to export-controlled data
