✨ About The Role
- The Director of USG Business Development at E-Space will be responsible for managing, leading, and securing contracts with the US Government, specifically focusing on defense contracts and space-related activities
- The role involves identifying, shaping, and winning federal contracting opportunities crucial for the growth and success of the organization
- Responsibilities include market research, developing win strategies, coordinating with customers and teammates, managing RFI responses and white papers, and writing and managing proposals
- The position requires coordination with the E-Space Government Affairs Team, providing updates on customer needs, opportunities, and obstacles, and ensuring synchronization of effort across E-Space activities
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced professional with a background in defense contracts and space-related activities, ideally with 5+ years of experience in capture management, business development, or proposal management for US cleared defense contractors
- Knowledgeable about Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and familiar with proposal management and business development best practices
- Ability to identify sales opportunities within the US Government, coordinate with internal teams, and manage the US Government business development pipeline through closure
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders, develop win strategies, and write and manage proposals effectively
- Ideally holds an active clearance and has experience with capture management tools and working on issues related to DOD and the Intelligence Community
