- The Manufacturing Engineer will support and drive improvements in critical manufacturing functions at Fictiv.
- Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing manufacturability and costs associated with CNC machining submitted by builders.
- The role involves determining necessary design changes to meet customer needs and developing competitive proposals and quotations.
- The engineer will package review to assess manufacturing feasibility and lead time details, as well as define the best manufacturing processes and machine selections.
- The position requires negotiating with manufacturing partners to ensure optimized costs and preparing RFQ packages based on capability and capacity plans.
- The engineer will provide feedback on design for manufacturability (DFx) and automation to improve quoting accuracy.

- The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly with CNC machining.
- A meticulous and detail-oriented individual who has a strong inclination for documentation and process optimization will thrive in this role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for effective collaboration with team members and manufacturing partners.
