- The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in sheet metal fabrication.
- A strong proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is essential for success in this role.
- Experience with CNC machines, including press brake, laser cutting, turret punch press, plasma, and waterjet cutting machines, is required.
- Knowledge of raw material properties, including various grades of stainless steel and aluminum alloys, is crucial.
- The candidate should possess strong negotiation skills to work effectively with manufacturing partners on quotes and costs.
