About the Company:

We are a fast-growing, U.S.-based company focused on delivering high-quality custom mechanical hardware to our customers across North America. Our team is built on collaboration, integrity, and innovation. We are now seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sales Administrator based in India to support our sales operations and contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth.

Role Overview:

As a Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our U.S. sales team with administrative tasks, CRM management, order processing, and internal coordination. You will also occasionally interact directly with customers via email, chat, or phone to assist with inquiries, provide updates, or resolve minor issues. This is a remote position requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Administration Support:

  • Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Odoo) with accurate sales data
  • Prepare and process sales quotes, invoices, purchase orders, and contracts
  • Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, finance, operations) to support the sales cycle
  • Track order statuses, follow up on pending documentation, and support reporting needs
  • Manage sales documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes

Customer Engagement (Occasional):

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, or phone in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist customers with basic product information, order updates, and support requests
  • Escalate complex issues to relevant team members while maintaining clear communication
  • Build rapport with customers and represent the company with professionalism and warmth

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales support, admin, or customer service role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM tools
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work at least 4–5 hours overlapping with U.S. business hours (EST/PST)

Preferred:

  • Experience working remotely with international teams
  • Familiarity with U.S. business practices and customer expectations
  • Basic understanding of sales funnels and B2B or B2C sales processes
