Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management

Monterrey, México

Descripción del puesto

As Senior Manager of Technical Program Management, you will be a strategic leader responsible for the organization, guidance, and development of the MX technical program management team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive leadership experience and manufacturing process knowledge to build, lead, and optimize departmental operations, which focus on managing our network of Manufacturing Partners to fulfill orders of custom mechanical components for our customers. Your core focus will be on establishing rigorous standards of work (SOPs), driving team structure and accountability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to ensure flawless cross-functional execution.

What's in it for you?

At Fictiv, we're inspired every day by our customers and teammates. You'll have the opportunity to interact with some of the most renowned companies on the planet who make physical products loved by millions. You'll be working with some of the highest quality and most talented vendors who produce high-quality components in record time.

Opportunity To Grow Your Career

In this role, you'll use your manufacturing process knowledge and management experience to develop and implement effective, scalable processes. These ensure we execute programs within scope, on time, and in full, while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. You will also work cross-functionally to lead the development of robust processes that guarantee the successful execution of new service offerings launched by Fictiv.

Impact in this Role

Your role as Sr. Manager, Technical Program Manager, will be to support, drive improvement, and document our critical functions to scale the Mexico region. You will develop, implement, and maintain KPI metrics for the department. We serve two customer groups: our builders, who order parts through us, and our manufacturing partners, who produce and assemble these parts. The Program Management department takes inputs from our builders and collaborates with our manufacturing partners to deliver on—and exceed—expectations. At Fictiv, we believe in creating the world's premier platform for hardware manufacturing, and you'll play a critical role in making that happen.

You will report directly to the VP of Global Program Management.

Key areas of accountability

Act as a program-driving consultant, not only to lead the Technical Program Management department but also to establish best practices for communication and cross-functional efficiency, ensuring complex programs deliver on-time, on-quality, and within budget.

Lead the Technical Program Management department to schedule and manage the delivery of orders from our manufacturing partners using best practices, develop useful tools for the team, monitor individual performance, and establish and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Develop project plans, layouts, and SOPs that merge customer requirements with Fictiv goals. Drive and control program progress and resource availability until fulfillment, leading the team and manufacturing partners in creating recovery plans to drive programs back on track when risks or issues arise.

Bridge global cooperation with multifunctional teams (the Fictiv team and manufacturing partners) for assigned projects; strong and flexible communication skills are essential.

Lead the Fictiv team and manufacturing partners in program risk evaluation and mitigation, coordinating with various stakeholders (internally and externally) to ensure the on-time delivery of orders to the builders' design specifications.

Take responsibility for the continuous improvement of our platforms, procedures, and processes, identifying areas of improvement and driving those initiatives to completion.
