Summary

In this role, you will support technical recruiting across our manufacturing sites for Spacecraft (Blue Ghost and Elytra) as well as Launch Vehicles (Alpha and Eclipse). You will have the opportunity to work directly with Firefly leaders to attract the best and brightest talent in space the space industry as Firefly continues to grow. This role is based on-site at our brand new headquarters, Nexus.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the recruitment process and execute full-cycle recruiting for positions at all Firefly locations, including some or all of the following: spacecraft, launch vehicles, production and operations, engineering and corporate functions.
  • Meet with stakeholders to review and understand role requirements, and to define the interview process.
  • Organize and document post-interview feedback with the Interview teams and candidates.
  • Creatively source talent: Build and maintain a network of candidates through proactive research, outreach, social media campaigns, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Guide candidates through a high touch engagement and interview process
  • Contribute to the long-range growth of the company by recommending new ideas for process improvement fine-tuning standard processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience working within an ATS sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
  • 3+ years of technical recruiting experience
  • Proven ability to effectively promote company branding and recruiting efforts through social media
  • Proven ability to proactively source candidates through online platforms and in person event engagement

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9+ years full life-cycle recruiting experience
  • 6+ months of experience in high volume technical agency recruiting
  • Experience recruiting in Space, Aerospace and Defense, or other closely related manufacturing industry
  • Passion for the mission of NewSpace
