✨ About The Role
- Responsible for owning business development for Robotics-as-a-Service solutions, primarily targeting SMB accounts in various industries
- Inspire integrators, distributors, machine builders, and end-users to explore and benefit from Formic's RaaS offering
- Evaluate customer requirements for automation projects, collaborate with the engineering team, and negotiate pricing and terms with end-users
- Generate new business, qualify potential projects, lead site visits, and present proposals to fulfill customer business needs
- Represent Formic at trade shows, lead both internal and external resources during the pitch process, and maintain data integrity in Salesforce
⚡ Requirements
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with 8+ years of experience in technology or SaaS, preferably in robotics, manufacturing, or industrial automation
- Ability to travel up to 75% within the Philadelphia/central PA territory, including occasional overnight trips
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on building long-term relationships and providing outstanding customer experiences
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive informed decision-making
- Hunger to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment
