About the Role

Forterra is seeking high-performing interns to join our Summer 2026 Growth Team, supporting the Mission Operations organization. As a Growth Intern, you will work closely with Mission Operations Leads (MOLs) to support the execution of existing customer contracts and the growth and scale of customer relationships. This cross-functional, execution-oriented role provides hands-on exposure to how Forterra partners with customers, deploys autonomy solutions, and delivers mission-critical work. You will support day-to-day customer engagement, internal coordination, and growth initiatives to help ensure successful execution and long-term expansion. This is a paid, three-month internship based in Arlington, VA.

What You'll Do

Engrained within the Growth Team on Current High-Impact Forterra Contracted Programs:

• Support Mission Operations Leads in managing active customer accounts, including tracking contract milestones, deliverables, and execution progress
• Assist with planning and coordination related to ongoing customer deployments and contract execution
• Help prepare customer-facing materials such as briefs, readouts, presentations, and internal updates

Customer Facing Engagement on Key Growth Initiatives:

• Support planning and execution of key customer engagements and events such as demonstrations at Forterra test sites, program directed testing and operational exercises, end-user trainings, and milestone deliveries
• Conduct targeted research to support account growth, expansion opportunities, and follow-on work with existing customers

Cross Organizational Leadership Driving Technical and Operational Outcomes:

• Coordinate and drive outcomes across the entire organization to include direct work with engineering, product, operations, and growth teams to support mission execution and cross-functional alignment
• Participate in internal planning discussions to understand how successful contract execution drives deeper customer relationships and scaled programs

Education

Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, with preference for graduate students

US Salary Range $8,000/month

The monthly compensation range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The compensation offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more.
