Workplace Operations Manager

About the Role

The Workplace Operations Manager oversees and optimizes the daily operations of workplace environments across multiple regions. This role ensures company occupied spaces support productivity, employee satisfaction, and operational excellence. This position also includes direct management of a team responsible for front desk operation and workplace services.

What You'll Do

Oversee the day-to-day operations and management of commercial real estate properties/facilities.

Continually assess corporate space, capital resources, lease opportunities, and administrative activities to optimize and meet the long-term needs of the organization.

Coach, mentor and develop the administrative services team, and oversee contract workers to ensure effective delivery of contracted services.

Assist in development and implementation of Forterra's corporate real estate strategy.

Work tightly in concert with M&A department to plan expansion or closures.

Facilities oversight.

Monitor financial performance of all properties to keep in line with agreed upon budgets.

Collaborate with marketing and finance departments to ensure alignment with company goals.

Incorporate legal team on decisions and processes as required.

Drive workplace innovation and transformation.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws.

10+ years experience in a leadership capacity.

Ability to balance deliberate planning processes with a fast-paced operational tempo.

Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience in office management, facilities, or workplace operations. Degree in related field.

US Salary Range $115,000 — $150,000

Location Hybrid in Clarksburg, MD

10-25% Travel may be required

The salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more. Equity in Forterra is included in most of our full-time, high-demand roles and is therefore considered part of Forterra's overall compensation package.
