✨ About The Role
- Fabricate, assemble, test, and develop custom hardware for advanced metal 3D printing factory systems
- Maintain critical infrastructure systems such as air, water, and inert gases, and ensure onsite fabrication and R&D areas are well-equipped and safe
- Utilize a variety of manufacturing tools including lathes, mills, bandsaws, grinders, precision drills, and wire EDMs
- Perform planned maintenance and unplanned repairs on equipment including air compressors, water chillers, and general machine/fabrication shop equipment
- Read and utilize schematics to troubleshoot systems down to the component level
âš¡ Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing or production, with at least 2 years of relevant experience interpreting schematics and/or blueprints
- Skilled in manual machining, welding, cutting, fitting, and bending of various materials including stainless steels, aluminums, and high-strength nickel alloys
- Ability to utilize power tools, hand tools, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
- Proficient in setting up and maintaining facility systems with a focus on air, water, and cryogenic inert gas systems
- Physically capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50lbs unassisted, climbing ladders, and being on feet for extended periods
