- Design and develop data models for model predictive control in an advanced metal 3D printing system
- Integrate data models and physics-based models into a unified simulation framework
- Develop deep learning frameworks for modeling complex physics associated with laser melting printing technology
- Create unsupervised learning algorithms to correlate data with printed part quality
- Collaborate with simulations engineers to predict the thermo-mechanical response of printed parts

- Experienced machine learning engineer with a background in advanced pattern recognition, predictive modeling, and deep learning algorithms
- Proficient in Python, C/C++, and object-oriented languages with a strong understanding of machine learning as it relates to physics or the physical world
- Skilled in developing custom machine learning algorithms from scratch and integrating critical data science infrastructure
- Creative problem solver with the ability to apply first-principles reasoning to complex problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
