✨ About The Role
- Responsible for architecting and developing software for advanced, production-scale metal 3D printing systems
- Collaborate with process and mechanical engineers to implement algorithms driving the printing process
- Develop robust production control software for high-power laser systems and robotics
- Improve telemetry, data acquisition, storage, and retrieval systems for the printing factory
- Implement processes for converting customer part geometries into machine print instructions
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with a minimum of 5 years in software development, preferably in a high-tech or manufacturing environment
- Proficient in C++ and experienced in developing production code for automation systems
- Strong background in continuous integration and deployment tools, with a preference for experience in a Linux environment
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or computer engineering is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including process and mechanical engineers
- Comfortable working on cutting-edge technology and solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to innovation and development
