Job Description

Govini is seeking a high-impact Creative Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of creative projects across the organization. Reporting directly to the VP of Creative, this role is the operational engine of the creative department, responsible for standardizing project intake, optimizing workflows, and ensuring cross-functional planning to deliver world-class brand and marketing assets.

You will be the primary architect of the Marketing Request Intake process, transforming current informal feedback loops into a structured, high-visibility system that serves stakeholders across GTM, Strategy, and Product teams.

This is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA. This role may require up to 5% travel.

Scope Of Responsibilities

  • Centralized Intake Management: Manage and refine the Marketing Request Intake Form process to ensure all cross-departmental requests—from sales decks and conference collateral to high-stakes video production—are captured with clear requirements, source materials, and deadlines.
  • Workflow Optimization: Build and maintain scalable workflows that resolve current operational blockers, such as design bandwidth constraints and manual tracking in Jira.
  • Resource Planning: Lead capacity planning and resource allocation for the creative team to meet the demands of major company milestones, including the events, multi-market advertising campaigns (Huntsville, Colorado Springs), and recurring metro creative cycles.
  • Status & Reporting: Serve as the "single source of truth" for project status, providing transparent reporting to leadership on project velocity, priority levels, and delivery timelines.
  • Cross-Functional Strategy: Partner with GTM, Product Marketing, and Events teams to align creative output with enterprise priorities, such as the "Golden Era of Defense" Summit theme and the rollout of AI-enabled Application messaging (Ace, AI Studio).
  • Vendor & Agency Management: Oversee relationships with creative agencies and production partners to ensure external work meets Govini's standards for brand sophistication and technical accuracy.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, or marketing ops, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or defense technology environment.
  • A proven track record of implementing project management systems (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com) and intake frameworks that reduce "word of mouth" feedback and increase team efficiency.
  • An exceptional ability to translate complex technical requirements from Engineers and Data Scientists into actionable creative briefs for Designers and Copywriters.
  • Comfortability navigating an "inflection point" environment where priorities can shift rapidly based on major deal pursuits or government budget cycles.
  • The ability to see beyond individual tasks to understand how creative operations support macro corporate goals, such as SaaS retention, market differentiation, and IPO positioning.
We firmly believe that past performance is the best indicator of future performance. If you thrive while building solutions to complex problems, are a self-starter, and are passionate about making an impact in global security, we're eager to hear from you.
Govini is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability and protected veterans status or any other characteristic protected by law.
