- The Federal Sales Manager will be responsible for developing a pipeline and go-to-market strategy to secure new customers within the U.S. Federal and DoD territory.
- The role involves identifying upsell opportunities and collaborating with the Customer Experience team to expand existing accounts.
- The candidate will need to manage a variety of sales cycles, from simple deals with smaller organizations to complex sales cycles with DoD accounts.
- Effective cross-collaboration with Sales Engineering, Channel, Business Development, Product, Marketing, and Executives is required to meet customer needs and close new business.
- The role includes documenting sales activities in the GreyNoise CRM (HubSpot) to support deal progression and sales forecasting.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in US Department of Defense cybersecurity sales, specifically in selling security software and threat intelligence solutions.
- A strong background in managing relationships with federal and DoD executives is essential, along with the ability to engage end users effectively.
- The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven success in achieving sales quotas in a high-velocity tech sales environment is crucial for this role.
- Familiarity with US Government cybersecurity missions, including SOCs and vulnerability management, is a must.
