The Flight Test Team is responsible for maintenance of the aircraft as required. Perform aircraft set up as required to perform test as developed by the Hermeus Engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Performing routine and specialized maintenance on aircraft to ensure operational readiness for flight tests.
• Executing flight test procedures and collecting data during test flights.
• Maintaining and calibrating testing equipment used in flight tests.
• Working with engineers, other technicians, and various teams to support flight test and aircraft build activities.
• Contributing to the development of new aerospace technologies through participation in testing and evaluation.
• Maintaining positive control over all tools used during maintenance to prevent foreign object debris (FOD) which can cause damage to the aircraft or its components.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess current FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses.
• Must have basic working knowledge of hand tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous maintenance experience maintaining aircraft.

Additional Requirements:

• We will be working in cold and hot environments. Working in a hangar, on the flight line and on the runway. Safety is paramount, with stringent protocols ensuring a secure workplace. Collaboration is key, providing opportunities to work closely with a skilled team dedicated to innovation.
This position requires the candidate be able to:
• Work at elevated heights and confined spaces.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Work outdoors, in all weather conditions.

$80,000 - $120,000 a year
