- The Software Development Engineer VI will be responsible for shaping the authentication experience for over 100 million ID.me customers.
- This role involves leading the implementation of an Authentication Platform that includes APIs and UI components focused on scale, security, and reliability.
- The candidate will define the architecture and technical roadmap for Authentication, representing the domain in technical collaborations.
- The position requires raising the bar for technical excellence through mentoring, architecture/code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions.
- The engineer will own end-to-end deliverables, committing quality code and overseeing the work of others.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a Master's degree or PhD preferred.
- A minimum of 12 years of SaaS development experience is required, showcasing a strong background in software engineering.
- The candidate should possess over 5 years of experience specifically in building Authentication products or services, demonstrating expertise in industry protocols like OIDC, SAML, and OAuth 2.0.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
- The successful individual will have a proven track record of influencing technical roadmaps and best practices within an organization.
