Information Technology Intern, Service Delivery (Summer 2026)

As an Information Technology Intern, Service Delivery, you will work directly with the IT Service Delivery team to support day-to-day operations across the company — from user support and hardware deployment to network troubleshooting and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field who wants to gain real-world, practical experience in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. This is a hands-on internship designed for students who are passionate about technology, infrastructure, and operational support. The internship will run from May to August of 2026.

Responsibilities

Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user systems including laptops, desktops, peripherals, and mobile devices.

Support onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing, imaging, and configuring hardware for new and departing employees.

Participate in network troubleshooting, including testing connectivity, validating VLAN assignments, and assisting with switch and access point deployments under supervision.

Help document and improve IT operational processes, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.

Provide technical support to end users, including hardware and software issue resolution, account access, and peripheral setup.

Assist with low-voltage tasks such as patching cables, labeling ports, and organizing network infrastructure.

Support the Service Delivery team in scheduled maintenance, equipment inventory, and asset lifecycle management.

Participate in special projects, such as system upgrades, process automation, or hardware refresh initiatives, with mentorship from full-time team members.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.

Strong interest in IT operations, service delivery, and infrastructure support.

Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS) and operating systems (Windows, macOS).

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn in a hands-on environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow processes and procedures accurately.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience with ticketing systems or service desk platforms.

Familiarity with endpoint management tools (Intune, JAMF, etc.).

Exposure to scripting or automation tools is a plus.

Additional Requirements

Willing and able to work on-site in Redondo Beach, CA for the duration of the internship.

This position may require overtime hours; interns are eligible for overtime pay.

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
