As an International Growth Manager at Impulse, you will help lead our national security space growth initiatives across the international community, e.g., UK, Australia, Japan, South Korea. This individual will be a key member of the Business Development team, responsible for identifying new opportunities, shaping customer requirements, and advancing Impulse's role in enabling responsive and resilient space capabilities. You will engage deeply with international customers and stakeholders to identify and shape opportunities in Impulse's wheelhouse. Moreover, this individual will engage with domestic government agencies, e.g., DSCA, SAF/IA, DDTC, and BIS, to facilitate international sales of Impulse national security products. You will craft and maintain the national security elements of Impulse's international sales five-year pipeline. These elements will be coordinated and cohered with Impulse's commercial and civil international strategies.
Develop and execute business development strategies for international sales of Impulse's national security products
Identify and qualify new opportunities for international customers
Seed, shape, and influence emerging customer requirements through early engagement and thought leadership
Collaborate with internal engineering and mission teams to craft compelling solutions to and white papers
Lead capture efforts, proposal strategy, teaming discussions, and stakeholder outreach
Represent Impulse at relevant international industry days and technical forums
Maintain situational awareness of FMS and DCS sales pathways
Work closely with executive leadership to align defense pursuits with long-term strategic objectives
5+ years of experience in national security product international sales, business development, capture, or program management
Demonstrated experience with U.S. agencies governing international sales
Demonstrated track record of creating, shaping, and winning international deals
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and executive stakeholders
Ability to travel, including internationally, as needed (up to 50%)
8+ years of experience in international sales, business development, capture, or program management in the national security space domain
Technical background in engineering or defense technology
Experience with early-stage or high-growth aerospace companies
Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
Additional Information: Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.
