Position Summary
Working in our production area, this role will be responsible for assembling sub-components, sub-systems and complete products in Infleqtion's commercial product line. This role requires good manual dexterity, ability to conduct visual inspections, understanding of mechanical, electrical, and optical engineering equipment, and commitment to follow all safety processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Independently or under limited supervision perform multi-step assembly processes of optical, vacuum, mechanical, and electrical assemblies following work instructions while referring to drawings and solid models
- Conduct inspection throughout manufacturing processes to ensure proper build and that quality standards are achieved
- Perform receiving and in-process inspections of mechanical, electrical and optical components and sub-assemblies using a variety of instruments, including optical and mechanical metrology tools (calipers, drop gauge, optical comparator, touch probe Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), and optical interferometer); as well as standard electrical and photonic test equipment
- Perform necessary maintenance and housekeeping activities to ensure a clean and safe work area
- Support production line maintenance, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting
- Acquires an intermediate level of applicable skills and process & product knowledge through the training matrix
- Identifies and works with other team members on process improvements
