The Director, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for overseeing the entire talent acquisition lifecycle and function, building strong partnerships with hiring managers as well as external talent acquisition partners, and developing and implementing short and long-term recruitment, candidate engagement and talent pipelining strategies that align with the company's goals whilst leading a high performing talent acquisition team.
Minimum Requirements:
6+ years of experience in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical or life sciences organization
Proven track record of successfully attracting and hiring top-tier talent for a variety of roles, including scientific, technical, and corporate functions
Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical / biotech industry and its unique talent challenges
Deep experience with Workday's Recruiting Module
Experience leading and managing executive-level recruiting
Expert knowledge of industry best practices in recruitment trends / practices
Strong communication, partnership, teamwork, and influencing / consulting skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Preferred Requirements:
This role is based in our Durham, NC office. Currently this job is a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the office. In office requirements could increase based on business needs.
