- The Product Development Chemist II will be responsible for developing and optimizing analytical methods to support formulation development and finished product testing.
- This role requires maintaining laboratory instrumentation and ensuring compliance with FDA and ICH guidelines.
- The candidate will assist in coordinating laboratory instrumentation calibrations and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- The position involves reviewing other Chemists' documentation and data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- The role is based 100% onsite at the Morrisville, North Carolina lab.

- A successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in chemistry or a related scientific field.
- The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of experience in performing analytical test methods and techniques in a pharmaceutical analytical laboratory.
- Strong technical writing skills are essential, as the role involves drafting and reviewing SOPs, test methods, specifications, protocols, and reports.
- Proficiency in using laboratory-related software, particularly Waters Empower Software, is required.
- Good oral communication skills are necessary for effectively communicating project status to management.
