✨ About The Role
- The Airframe Assembly Technician will perform a variety of tasks related to production assembly operations on structural assemblies and subassemblies.
- The role involves working from diagrams and drawings, making initial layouts, and using hand and power tools.
- Quality inspections on the processing line will be conducted in accordance with quality specifications.
- The technician may also disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies.
- Following approved assembly procedures and consulting FAA-approved internal procedures is a key responsibility.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and be proficient in drilling, riveting, and the installation of related hardware.
- Experience with the fabrication of composite parts is essential for success in this role.
- Candidates should be familiar with reading work orders, blueprints, and specifications to effectively perform assembly tasks.
- A minimum of three years of experience in aircraft composite assembly or mechanical assembly is preferred.
- The successful individual will have a strong understanding of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
