At Joby Aviation, we are driven by our goal of creating an affordable, all-electric, global air transportation system. Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, and then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We've designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We're looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying our aircraft and scaling our global operations.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to support and advance Joby Aviation's workplace safety and compliance programs. This role plays a vital part in promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility through hands-on support, regulatory compliance, training development, and hazard mitigation. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of federal and state regulations—including OSHA, NFPA, EPA, DOT, and DTSC—and a passion for fostering a safe, healthful, and environmentally sound work environment across all Joby facilities.
The target compensation for these positions is $20.25-$26.25 depending on the level of completed education. The pay range for graduate interns with a Bachelor, Master, and/or Ph.D. degree is $5,550-$6,563/month.
Joby also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan with a company match, an employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and more.
