- The intern will be responsible for developing and validating models for battery, motor, inverter, and other hardware components.
- Prototyping algorithms for estimating hardware state and health using field data will be a key responsibility.
- The role involves designing and supporting hardware test plans to inform models and algorithms.
- The intern will perform system-level sensitivity analyses and support trade studies to guide future hardware development.
- Building and deploying modeling, analysis, and optimization tools will also be part of the job.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong foundational understanding of engineering principles, particularly in ordinary differential equations (ODEs) and numerical methods, is essential.
- Experience in modeling and analyzing dynamic systems, whether mechanical, electrical, or thermal, is highly valued.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or MATLAB is required for developing and validating models and algorithms.
- The candidate should be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and able to complete technical tasks with limited oversight.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary for effective cross-team collaborations and relationships.
