- The role involves collaborating with propulsion design engineers to develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative manufacturing systems for propulsion assemblies, including welded/bolted structures and high-pressure systems.
- Creating custom tools and processes to support the manufacturing technologies, including Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software, is a key responsibility.
- The engineer will demonstrate advanced manufacturing techniques on prototypes and work with design teams to improve manufacturability.
- The role includes developing propulsion subassembly build and production flow procedures and providing technical support to resolve production issues.

- A bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or a relevant engineering discipline is essential for this role.
- Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a high-volume, rapid production environment, particularly in manufacturing, integration, automation, or automotive engineering.
- Successful applicants will have hands-on experience with basic fabrication tools and processes, such as electric/pneumatic power tools, tube bending, machining, and welding.
- Experience in setting up a manufacturing/production floor for first article builds is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of product development and process improvements will be beneficial for candidates.
