✨ About The Role
- The Satellite Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the success of mechanical structures, mechanisms, and electromechanical subsystems for satellite operations.
- In the first 6 months, the engineer will define product requirements and create initial concepts and trades.
- The role involves performing preliminary and detailed analysis, defining development test campaigns, and producing development hardware.
- The engineer will validate designs through prototype iterations and build and qualify flight hardware within the first year.
- Responsibilities include leading satellite subsystem design reviews and driving hardware development through hands-on testing and analysis correlation.

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a relevant engineering discipline is required for this role.
- Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical design and analysis.
- Proficiency with CAD or FEA software packages is essential, which can be gained through professional, academic, or personal projects.
- The ideal candidate will have experience designing, building, and testing mechanical assemblies for aerospace applications.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration within a cross-functional team.
