We are looking for a world-class Head of Marketing who can take full ownership of our marketing function. This is a rare opportunity to shape the brand of one of the most exciting companies in the region, working at the intersection of space technology, government, and global industry leaders.
This role requires a strategist who is also an executor. You will be responsible for everything from brand positioning and market strategy to digital presence, campaigns, ecosystem engagement, and high-level government and industry relations. You will represent Orbitworks at conferences and events, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure Orbitworks is positioned on the global map as a leader in space.
About The Role:
- Define and execute the overall marketing strategy for Orbitworks, aligned with business objectives and growth priorities.
- Develop and manage the company's brand identity and ensure consistency across all platforms and communications.
- Build and oversee integrated campaigns spanning digital, PR, events, partnerships, and thought leadership.
- Represent Orbitworks at high-level conferences, industry events, and government forums to strengthen our visibility and credibility.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders including government entities, media, and strategic partners.
- Oversee employer branding initiatives to attract top global talent.
- Lead content creation and digital marketing efforts (social media, website, newsletters, and press) to showcase Orbitworks' mission and impact.
- Build and manage marketing budgets, ensuring ROI and alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate with leadership, business development, and technical teams to align messaging and amplify Orbitworks' role in the ecosystem.
- Track, measure, and report on marketing performance, with constant optimization of campaigns and initiatives.
Must Haves:
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role (Director, Head, or equivalent), ideally in aerospace, technology, government-related, or other high-profile industries.
- Strong track record of building and executing marketing strategies that deliver measurable impact.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft narratives that inspire global stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to represent a brand at senior levels, including public speaking and networking with high-profile audiences.
- Experience in digital marketing, branding, and campaign management.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and measuring ROI.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills, willing to roll up sleeves and make things happen.
- Portfolio or examples of campaigns, brand initiatives, or organizations you have successfully scaled or positioned.
- Experience working with government entities or public sector stakeholders in the UAE or MENA region.
- Background in aerospace, defense, or space industry marketing. Start-up experience will be a big plus.
- PR or media relations expertise with established networks in regional and international press.
- Ability to manage vendor and agency relationships for creative, digital, or PR support.
Orbitworks' mission is to make space simple for organizations that want to deploy physical and virtual missions to space. Building on Loft Orbital's heritage, Orbitworks will be the first commercial firm in the United Arab Emirates to mass-manufacture satellites. Orbitworks aims to manufacture tens of satellites annually and operates out of a 50,000-square-foot facility in Abu Dhabi.
