Electrical Engineer Intern

Lunar Outpost Oceania is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer Intern to join our fast paced, dynamic team. In this role, you will support design and develop electrical systems for spacecraft and associated technologies. Your work will contribute to groundbreaking projects in lunar mobility and in-situ resource utilisation.
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will:
- Contribute to PCB and circuit design.
- Support development of electrical hardware and systems.
- Assist with circuit card manufacturing and assemblies.
- Conduct hardware testing and qualification.
- Implement EMI/EMC considerations.
- Address radiation and environmental tolerancing requirements.
- Develop and apply upset and risk mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with RF/hardware and software engineers on design and validation.
- Prepare technical writing and documentation for firmware products.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all stages of work.
Preferred Disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience studying an engineering discipline at university.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and software developers, to integrate electrical systems with other components.
- Confidence to participate in design reviews and provide feedback and recommendations to improve system performance.
- Must be legally permitted to work in Australia.
