Project Manager Intern

As a Project Manager Intern at Lunar Outpost, you will work closely with our project management team to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of various spaceflight projects. All interns will work directly alongside full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects, providing tangible value to Lunar Outpost products. This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules and timelines
  • Support project managers in tracking project progress and ensuring milestones are met
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and allocate requirements
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and presentations
  • Participate in project meetings and provide administrative support
  • Help identify, track, and mitigate project risks
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance organizational practices

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field
  • Familiar with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Can effectively demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills, while also excelling in collaboration and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment
  • Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills under pressure and in stressful situations
  • Fueled by a passion for space exploration and the boundless possibilities beyond our world

Mid-May (May 18, 2026) to early August (August 7, 2026). Start and end dates are flexible with the intern's school schedule. In-person, Monday - Friday in Arvada, Colorado.
