Corporate Legal Intern

Lyten is looking for a Corporate Legal Intern to support the legal team with corporate governance, compliance, entity management, and stockholder-related matters. This work will contribute to improving organization, responsiveness, and efficiency across corporate legal operations and stockholder support processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining corporate records, compliance trackers, governance documentation.
  • Supporting stockholder requests and responses related to stock transfers and stock sale inquiries.
  • Conduct legal research and support internal governance and compliance initiatives.

Deliverables will include:

  • Updated corporate records and compliance trackers
  • Stockholder request tracking support
  • Legal research summaries
  • A final capstone presentation

Requirements:

  • Current 1st, 2nd or 3rd year law student

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 20-30 lbs.
  • Able to stand for up to 5 hours

The internship will run for 12 weeks, including onboarding, governance and compliance support work, stockholder request management assistance, and a final presentation. The capstone project will focus on Corporate Governance and Stockholder Process Improvement to enhance tracking, documentation, and response workflows.

Compensations Range:

$25.00 - $32.00

The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.

In addition to base pay this position is eligible for tier based bonus and equity, healthcare, dental, vision, corporate discounts, paid holidays, PTO and sick time, 401K, employee relocation plan (if applicable)
