Sales And Business Development Director
Lyten Poland is currently seeking a Sales And Business Development Director. In this role, you will be responsible for co-defining, refining, and executing the commercial strategy for our BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) portfolio, covering both mobile, scalable, and stationary energy storage solutions.
This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on customer engagement. It requires strong industry expertise, a proven track record in sales and business development, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing team in a rapidly growing market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Market Development
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine the global sales strategy for BESS.
- Identify and prioritize market segments, applications, and geographic opportunities that drive profitable growth.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor landscapes, and regulatory developments to shape long-term strategic direction.
2. Sales Team Leadership
- Build, manage, and coach a high-performing sales organization.
- Set clear performance targets, KPIs, and development paths for the team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
3. Key Customer Engagement
- Lead relationships with top customers, strategic accounts, and industry partners.
- Support the team in complex negotiations and high-value deals.
- Represent the company in customer meetings, executive discussions, and commercial reviews.
4. Industry Knowledge & Expertise
- Bring strong understanding of the energy storage market, including BESS technologies, mobile power solutions, grid-connected and off-grid applications, and relevant standards.
- Provide thought leadership to internal stakeholders on customer needs, market shifts, and product requirements.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to align commercial needs with technology roadmap and deployments.
5. Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet customers, attend industry events, support the sales team, and represent the company globally.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in energy storage, power systems, renewables, or related industrial sectors.
- Strong background in developing and executing sales strategies in high-growth technical markets.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire sales teams across multiple regions.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, innovative, and fast-paced environment.
