- The Autonomy Manager - Perception will be responsible for developing and executing the autonomy strategy in collaboration with engineering leaders.
- The role involves managing perception metrics and KPIs, as well as tracking the technical performance of perception systems in the field.
- The manager will support site integration, performance evaluation, and product launch for autonomous vehicles in both US and global sites.
- The position requires the ability to escalate critical issues and opportunities within the autonomy team to engineering leadership.
- The role includes collaborating with various teams to deploy robust perception solutions for autonomous vehicles.
âš¡ Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is required, with a strong mathematical foundation.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in leading or managing technical development for real-world robotic systems, particularly in perception, prediction, or planning.
- A minimum of 2 years of technical development experience in deep learning-based perception technologies, including detection, classification, and sensor fusion.
- Strong experience in machine learning deployment and data analysis, with a deep understanding of perception evaluation methodologies and safety KPIs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective cross-team collaboration.
