Integration Technician
Muon seeks an Integration Technician to join our Assembly, Integration, and Test team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated technician that will help both the Mechanical Engineering team with prototype projects, as well as the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) team to prepare flight hardware as a part of building spacecraft.
Responsibilities
- Support mechanical engineering during development and pre-production phases of hardware life-cycles, including building pre-production, qualification, and flight hardware
- Assist with transitioning product lines from engineering development to full rate production
- Support AIT in the setup and activation of production lines and development and qualification of hardware test setups
- Support rework and recovery efforts on non-conforming hardware
- Support tooling fabrication, factory automation projects, and general production
Qualifications
- Experience working with engineers in development and production environments
- Able to work independently and problem solve efficiently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to provide constructive feedback to the engineering and management teams to improve tooling designs, processes and parts
- Able to stay organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to read and interpret wiring schematics and assembly drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with new challenges each week
Nice-to-have Skills
- Experience with CAD such as Solidworks or similar software
- Experience with MES and ERP systems
- Experience working in a Class 10k (ISO 7) cleanroom
- Able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
- Able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces
- A&P Certified
Salary
This role is non-exempt. The salary range for this role is $102,000 - $131,000 plus a competitive equity grant and comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location as assessed during the interview process.
