✨ About The Role
- Responsible for driving growth for Muon Space within the Department of Defense (DoD) by leading customer engagement, pipeline development, and capture efforts
- Develop and implement a cohesive strategy for target organizations, identifying new opportunities and leading capture activities to support company growth targets
- Lead proposals and Request for Information (RFI) responses, working closely with engineering to develop technical solutions and ensure successful submissions
- Collaborate with various departments within Muon Space, including Legal and Finance, to support opportunities and contribute to the product technology roadmap
- Act as a voice for the customer, providing thought leadership and championing causes that need to be addressed in order to secure new business opportunities
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years in aerospace/defense business development, specifically within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC)
- Ability to lead capture activities, proposals, and win new business within the DoD/IC sector
- Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, capable of engaging with customers and internal teams effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to take initiative and lead through uncertainty
- Must hold an active DoD Top Secret clearance and be willing to travel up to 35% of the time
