- The role involves deploying and integrating Nominal's software platform in various client environments, including air-gapped physical data centers and hybrid infrastructures - Leading the strategy to deploy Nominal on customer-owned cloud accounts and managing infrastructure as code for efficient and repeatable deployments - Innovating at the cutting edge of data infrastructure, considering high frequency, high volume, streaming data with transformation and alerting capabilities - Managing tradeoffs between effort vs value, short-term vs long-term growth, and other tensions that may arise in the deployment process - Solving issues quickly and autonomously to keep Nominal's technology ahead of the curve

âš¡ Requirements

- Experienced software engineer with a background in deploying and integrating software platforms in high-stakes environments - Strong technical skills in Unix/Linux systems, Kubernetes, Minio/S3 Object Storage, Postgres, and infrastructure as code - Proven track record of leading and managing technical projects from planning to deployment - Ability to innovate at the cutting edge of data infrastructure and solve complex problems efficiently - Comfortable with frequent travel to interact with end-users on-site in various environments
