Planet is a global company with employees working remotely worldwide and joining us from offices in San Francisco, Washington DC, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, and The Netherlands.
As a Senior Product Manager (PM) at Planet, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects using your industry expertise and product vision. You will own vision and plan requirements with internal stakeholders including: coordinating input, managing the product roadmap, identifying risks, and clearly communicating them to stakeholders, as well as lead projects through the entire product lifecycle. You have familiarity explaining your analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
You will be primarily responsible for the ongoing evolution of Planet's Constellation Services (CxS) products, a new line of products which support large customers in buying secure access and reserved capacity on our satellites. You will lead the development of the CxS Products and work in collaboration with teams across Space Systems, Product/Engineering, and Commercial to ensure our new product line is responsive to customer needs. This role may evolve with the changing needs of our organization and the lifecycle of our constellations.

This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. If located near an office, you are expected to work from that office 3 days per week.

Compensation: The US base salary range for this full-time position at the commencement of employment is listed below. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives (bonus and equity). The final salary range is determined by job related experience, skills and location. The range displays our typical hiring range for new hire salaries in US locations only.
