As a Product Manager for Maritime Domain Awareness at Planet, you'll be responsible for building scalable AI-enabled monitoring solutions that transform satellite imagery and multi-source data into actionable maritime insights. You will own end-to-end product strategy across analytics, APIs, user workflows, and operational customer requirements in support of defense and commercial maritime missions globally.

This is a full-time, hybrid role which will require you to work from our Haarlem office 3 days per week.

Impact You'll Own:

• Define and drive the product vision for Maritime Domain Awareness, prioritizing capabilities like vessel detection features, upstream imagery requirements and change detection at the edge.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and pricing models for data tiers in coordination with Sales and Finance.
• High velocity development of near real-time analysis, collaborating with AI and machine learning teams, to optimize "pixel-to-insight" latency.
• Gather and prioritize requirements for near real time use cases, ensuring our products meet the needs of defense and commercial customers.
• Serve as the product and market expert for Maritime Domain Awareness, representing Planet in technical forums and high-level customer briefings.
• Work with compliance and security teams to ensure all products and services adhere to export control laws, national security constraints, and data privacy standards.

What You Bring:

• 6+ years of Product Management experience, specifically with a track record of launching complex, technical products.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Understanding of satellite systems and object detection analytics
• Ability to understand and represent the needs of users in mission-critical, near real time environments such as defense, intelligence, or disaster response.
• Experience balancing technical trade-offs and customer needs in complex product ecosystems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for explaining complex technical trade-offs to both executive and engineering audiences.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
