Program Performance Management Specialist

Within our global environment, the Program Performance Management Specialist (Sr PPM Spec) provides contract/program cost and/or schedule management and analysis for new and mature programs typically valued up to $10M per year. As an individual contributor taking direction from a manager or team lead, you'll develop the program time-phased cost and/or schedule baseline within the contract parameters in conjunction with the program team along with analyzing program performance (historical and predictive), monitor the contract/program Estimate at Complete and/or schedule completion date, and make recommendations to program manager and program leads.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience; or a Master's degree

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Earned Value Management or scheduling tool knowledge is required; solid knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles

Contact with internal customers: Program Management, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing

Duties and tasks include:

  • Providing contract/program cost and/or schedule management and analysis for new and mature programs
  • Developing the program time-phased cost and/or schedule baseline within the contract parameters
  • Analyzing program performance (historical and predictive), monitoring the contract/program Estimate at Complete and/or schedule completion date, and making recommendations to program manager and program leads
  • Assisting in the development of a time-phased budget and/or schedule to meet all contract and program objectives
  • Collecting and updating program performance data, preparing and analyzing historical and predictive measures, and reviewing results and recommendations with program manager and program leads
  • Maintaining and statusing the program schedule
  • Identifying and analyzing the program critical path and driving paths to schedule specific milestones
  • Reviewing results and recommendations with program manager and program leads
  • Assisting in preparation of program review documents and customer required documents
  • Coordinating contract/program Estimate At Complete (EAC), risk and opportunity, and Management Reserve data with Finance organization as input into business financial commitments
  • Updating program time-phased budget and/or schedule and required documents associated with internal and contract changes
  • Fostering an environment of trust and teamwork builds collaborative relationships
  • Communicating professionally and effectively
  • Working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Interfaces with multiple IPT leads and PMs primarily at a single location
  • May be a team contributor on an EVMS requirement program

This position is being offered in a 'flex on-site' capacity, but will require you to report to the Orlando office weekly 2-3 days per week.

USD $85,000.00 - USD $92,500.00 /Yr.
