✨ About The Role
- The Packaging Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the packaging and integration of turbomachinery and electrical systems throughout the operation lifecycle.
- This role is crucial for ensuring that the nuclear microreactor meets structural and safety requirements while optimizing for cost and efficiency.
- The engineer will contribute to the strategy and packaging of the Powertrain System.
- Attention to detail in GD&T analyses and installation drawings is required to convey assembly intent.
- The role involves defining and completing necessary hardware integration verification activities, including CAE, physical mockups, and hardware testing.

- A successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of experience in integrating, designing, and/or building mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong capabilities in CAD software such as 3DX, CATIA, NX, or Solidworks are essential for developing mechanical designs and prototypes.
- The candidate should have experience in the integration and packaging of complex electrical systems, such as those found in power plants, eVTOL, or EVs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with various teams within engineering, manufacturing, and validation.
