✨ About The Role
- The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the manufacturing and inspection process for critical components and assemblies within the Kaleidos microreactor
- This role involves partnering with design engineers to develop innovative production methods for complex mechanisms and structures
- The engineer will develop, qualify, and refine manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery requirements
- Managing manufacturing bill-of-materials (mBOM), identifying suppliers, and executing capital equipment upgrades are key responsibilities
- Driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and product quality is a core focus of this role
⚡ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with at least 2+ years of experience in manufacturing mechanical products, preferably in high-tech or energy sectors
- Experience with machining, interpreting engineering drawings, and inspection systems is required
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with design and operations teams
- Self-motivated individual with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience with custom machine design, electromechanical systems, and CAD software like Solidworks would be beneficial
