- The role involves architecting and developing Digital Twin software features and blocks for the Kaleidos microreactor.
- The candidate will develop, test, and iterate on Digital Twin thermal-hydraulic models to ensure high fidelity and reliability.
- Responsibilities include developing and enacting thermal analysis plans for the Kaleidos microreactor.
- The position requires building and optimizing performance and processes for testing models in accordance with NQA-1 regulations.
- The candidate will collaborate with the Thermo-Mechanical and Nuclear teams to build new models that support hardware testing.
- Collecting requirements and providing expertise and feedback to engineers is a key part of the role.
- The candidate will present design reviews to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and understanding across the organization.

- A successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, or a similar field from an accredited institution.
- The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of software development experience in C# or C++.
- A demonstrated understanding of thermal physics first principles is essential for this role.
- Experience in decomposing thermal modeling into a set of functions in Python or C# will be beneficial.
- The candidate should be driven, self-motivated, and take ownership of their work from start to finish.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in software project management and exposure to software systems design or architecture is desired.
