Electrical Engineering Intern

Radiant is building the next generation of clean, portable nuclear power through small modular reactors. As part of our mission to transform how energy is generated and delivered, we are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers to support the design, testing, and integration of electrical systems that power our advanced reactors. This is an opportunity to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges while contributing to a pioneering clean energy technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design, modeling, and analysis of electrical systems and components.
  • Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of hardware and instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, software, nuclear) to ensure system reliability and safety.
  • Contribute to documentation, schematics, and technical reports.
  • Participate in lab and prototyping work as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of circuit design, power systems, or control systems.
  • Familiarity with tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE, or CAD software is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
