- The Senior Platform Engineer will be responsible for the deployment, management, and maintenance of compute infrastructure to support Kubernetes platforms.
- The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining both physical and virtual infrastructure architectures.
- The candidate will need to develop and deploy Linux and/or Windows servers and maintain storage arrays.
- The position requires the creation and maintenance of automation scripts and pipelines to streamline operations.
- The engineer will also be tasked with ensuring the platform can withstand disconnected, degraded, and isolated network conditions.

- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of relevant hands-on experience in platform engineering.
- A strong familiarity with deploying Kubernetes on bare metal is essential, as the role requires expertise beyond managed Kubernetes services.
- Experience in deploying, maintaining, and monitoring AWS cloud compute resources is crucial for success in this position.
- The candidate should have a solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field is required, with advanced degrees being highly preferred.
